The Masked Singer season 11: Here's everything you need to know
Published on December 13, 2025 EDT From the new panelist and costumes to all-new theme nights and wildcards, here's everything you need to know about the new season.

It's officially March Mask-ness time!

That's right: The new season of The Masked Singer — its 11th(!) — is almost here, and to prepare, EW is once again rounding up everything you need to know about the new episodes. After all, every new season is a little bit different than the one before it — The Masked Singer definitely likes to keep viewers on their toes.

With that in mind, here's everything you need to know before The Masked Singer season 11 debuts, from the new panelist and costumes to all-new theme nights and wildcards.

The new season starts on Wednesday, March 6 from 8-9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox. Viewers can catch up on the show on Hulu, Fox.com, Tubi, and On Demand. On Demand episodes are available for customers of Cox Contour TV, DIRECTV, DISH, fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, Optimum, Spectrum, Verizon FiOS, XFINITY, YouTube TV, and many more.

No! For the first time in The Masked Singer history, a new panelist is joining the season: British singer-songwriter and The Masked Singer UK panelist Rita Ora is stepping in for Nicole Scherzinger while the latter performs on London's West End. Longtime panelists Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Robin Thicke are all returning though, as is host Nick Cannon. Any potential guest panelists or guest stars have not yet been announced.

The format is nearly identical to last season's. It will consist of Groups A, B, and C, with the first group starting with five costumes and the other groups starting with four. Each group will get one wildcard costume added, so the season will, once again, have three wildcards total. Like season 10, the judges will have one opportunity to use the Ding Dong Keep It On bell to save one contestant, who will move to the quarterfinals with the group A, B, and C finalists, for a total of four quarterfinalist contestants. From there, three will compete in the semifinals and two will move on to the finale.

Season 11 will introduce all-new themed episodes, including “Wizard of Oz,” in celebration of the 85th anniversary of the classic film, “Transformers,” as the iconic toy brand celebrates its 40th anniversary, and special musical anthology episodes including “Billy Joel Night” and “Queen Night.” Additional themes include “Girl Groups,” “Soundtrack of My Life,” “TV Theme Night,” and “Shower Anthems.” As has been the case in past seasons, the themes will be weaved throughout the performers’ song selections, costumes, celebrity guests, set design… and may even provide clues as to who is under the mask.

As mentioned above, 16 masked celebrities are battling it out this season, three of which will be wildcard contestants. The costumes revealed so far include Cleocatra, Gumball, Lizard, Ugly Sweater, Goldfish, Starfish, and Book. EW also debuted the first look at Lovebird. And although their official names haven't been revealed, early teasers for the season also teased a mustache, a pair of beets, and a clock.

The season 11 contestants boast a combined 22 Grammy nominations, 11 platinum albums, 33 Teen Choice nominations, 108 million records sold, 1.7 billion Spotify streams, and 326 film appearances. But that's all we know about them... for now.
