Liam Gallagher is looking back in anger, or at least ambivalence.

The Oasis singer responded to some tweets about last night's Saturday Night Live sketch featuring James Austin Johnson and Sarah Sherman as Noel and Liam Gallagher, respectively.

When asked about how he felt about the duo's impressions, the younger Gallagher responded simply, "Excruciating."

"Are they meant to be comedians," he wrote in another tweeted reply.

In all fairness, the Oasis bit wasn't the best part of last night's episode or even the Weekend Update segment. The famously feuding Gallaghers are about to go on a reunion tour — which anyone with even passing knowledge of their relationship knows is a big, Wonderwall-esque maaaaybe — so Johnson and Sherman lampooned their toxic sibling rivalry.

But these Gallaghers, and their questionable accents, can actually agree on a couple things, mostly cartoons, favorite Sex and the City boyfriend (Steve, obvi), and favorite Will Smith movie.

Gallagher, however, was not amused. But when is he? Even the audience didn't seem that into it, but Johnson and Sherman stayed committed to the bit, which is all that really matters in sketch comedy.

Meanwhile, the real Gallagher brothers haven't been on SNL since October 1997, hosted by Matthew Perry. Asked if he and Noel got along with Perry when they guest starred on the show, Gallagher replied, "I actually don’t remember being on it."
