Golden BachelorNo, Leslie's
Published on December 13, 2025 EDT Bachelor Nation stylist Cary Fetman and designer Randi Rahm recently cleared up the confusion.

The #DressGate mystery has been solved, rose lovers.

On last week's season finale of The Golden Bachelor, Gerry Turner sat down with Leslie Fhima — the 64-year-old fitness instructor from Minnesota — in her hotel room and broke the news that she was not going to receive his final rose. Stunned, angry, and understandably emotional, Leslie berated Gerry for telling her she was "the one" and then changing his mind "not even 12 hours later." Scolding him through her sobs, she said, "The only good thing is now I don't have to walk down [to the Proposal Platform] in that $60,000 dress with the diamond earrings and get on that platform and be completely embarrassed!"

Though fans never saw the "$60,000 dress" on the show, a teaser for the season finale showed Leslie in this strapless blue chiffon gown from designer Randi Rahm:

Many took to social media to express their doubts that the lovely but relatively simple dress could cost so much money. Now we know the truth: It didn't! In a new interview with BachelorNation.com, the Bachelor franchise stylist Cary Fetman explained that while Leslie did, in fact, try on a $60,000 dress, it was not the one she ended up choosing. (Apparently, she mixed the dresses up in the heat of her emotional breakup with Gerry.)

Rahm added that Fetman sent about 15 dresses for Leslie and Theresa to try and confirmed that one of them did cost $60,000. "Theresa picked a very elegant, sexy, sequin gown and Leslie went with a classic strapless dress with a bold, beautiful blue color," said Rahm. "Leslie’s dress I call one of my Grace Kelly kind of gowns. It’s a beautiful chiffon and if you get up close to it, you can see the mixing of fabrics to make textures. It’s really something beautiful."
