The debut episode of Young Sheldon spinoff Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage will feature some familiar faces.

Annie Potts, who played Connie Tucker, Sheldon and his siblings' Meemaw, and Zoe Perry, the actress behind Mary Cooper, their mother, pop up to deliver some essentials to young married couple Georgie Cooper (Montana Jordan) and Mandy (Emily Osment) in the exclusive clip above.

The footage is a peek at the Chuck Lorre-produced series that, like its predecessor, is a prequel to The Big Bang Theory. Viewers see Sheldon's older brother and his bride settling into their own home. The two have become "fed up staying with her parents and reconsider their living situation after a fight with Mandy’s mom, Audrey," according to the episode's official synopsis.

"I don't understand why they don't just come and live with me," Mary tells Meemaw, whose actual name is Connie.

She retorts, "Maybe they don't like ya." And she makes it clear that she's being serious.

The visitors have brought toilet paper, towels, and a toaster. They also happened to bring a blender for making baby food or, as the Potts character suggests, margaritas. "In case you want to pretend this is all good," she quips.

While the character of Georgie was seen on The Big Bang Theory, Mandy only joined Young Sheldon in season 5. She eventually couples up with Georgie and welcomes a child with him.

Sheldon ended in May, after a successful seven-season run. The new series takes place just a couple of months after the final events in Young Sheldon, which included the heartbreaking death of Sheldon and Georgie's father, George Cooper Sr. (Lance Barber). Sheldon had gone to Caltech, which he has, of course, attended by the time we catch up with him on The Big Bang Theory.

Last month, Osment and executive producer Steve Holland told EW that the title is a tease of whether the two will be together in the end.

"They're a young couple, he's much younger than she is," Holland said. "They got into this marriage in unique circumstances, so it's not necessarily going to be an easy ride for them, even though they love each other, and they're in this for the long haul. I think it's just a little hint that everything isn't necessarily going to go smoothly for these two."

Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage premieres Thursday, Oct. 17 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
