Venom: The Last Dance Tom Hardy waltzes, becomes a fugitive, and prepares for a symbiote breakup in
Published on December 13, 2025 EDT They are Venom... at least for now.

They are Venom — and they are ready to waltz their way through another epic adventure.

On Monday, Sony unveiled our first look at Venom: The Last Dance, the film being touted as the end of the Tom Hardy-fronted trilogy about a man and his symbiote. Once more, Hardy is back as Eddie Brock, a journalist sharing his body with a sentient alien symbiote best known for being a Spider-Man villain. Bonded together, they are known as Venom and thus far, no human enemy has stood a chance.

But the third film presents a series of much bigger threats.

The Last Dance trailer opens with Eddie and Venom easily disposing of goons before learning that a bigger issue lurks around the corner. Not only are they up against a massive, symbiote alien from Venom’s home planet, they are also being hunted by government agents, forcing them to become fugitives.

As always, Venom and Eddie manage to find a few creative solutions — such as Venom-izing a horse to pull off an epic escape — but the trailer also indicates that The Last Dance is the beginning of the end.

"As long as Venom lives,” a voice ominously begins. “Everyone… Everything… Will end.”

The gravity of the situation is not lost on Eddie, who admits, "We may not make it out of this alive, buddy.”

But it’s Venom who indicates that the end is nigh: “Eddie,” says the symbiote. “The time has come.”

The followup to 2018’s Venom and 2021’s Venom: Let There be Carnage also sees the return of Peggy Lu as Mrs. Chen and Stephen Graham as Patrick Mulligan. The film also stars Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rhys Ifans, and Cristo Fernandez, who briefly appeared alongside Hardy in a Spider-Man: No Way Home end credits cameo.

Venom: The Last Dance will hit theaters on Oct. 25.
