Freaky FridayJamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan reunite 20 years after

This week, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan held a mini Freaky Friday reunion more than 20 years after the movie's release — and no, we cannot chill for a sec.

Curtis posted a snapshot of her and Lohan on Instagram on Friday, once again expressing her desire for the pair to reprise their roles as the body-swapping mother-daughter duo Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) Coleman in a potential sequel.

"Too late. YOU GREW UP and SO BEAUTIFULLY!" she wrote. "Well, it's Friday, and the strike is over, so hopefully, we can switch places again in the near future!"

In July, Curtis confirmed to EW that a sequel to the 2003 Disney comedy remake was "for sure" in the works but that it had been delayed due to the writers' strike. However, now that both the writers' and actors' strikes have officially ended, a Coleman family reunion might finally be back on the table — especially since Lohan is also onboard.

Curtis previously said she was inspired to revisit Freaky Friday after encountering fans of the film during the press tour for her 2022 movie Halloween Ends.

"As I went around the world with Halloween Ends, people wanted to know if there was going to be another Freaky Friday," she told The New York Times. "Something really touched a chord. When I came back, I called my friends at Disney and said, 'It feels like there's a movie to be made.'"

The Oscar-winning star also teased her vision for the sequel while visiting The View last year, revealing that she'd love to play "the old grandma" who switches bodies with Lohan's character once again.

"I would like to see Lindsay be the hot grandma, and I would like to see me try to deal with toddlers today," she said. "I wanna be a helicopter parent in today's world, as an old lady."
