The Golden Bachelorette is officially coming this fall
Published on January 15, 2026 EDT Following the success of Gerry Turner's turn as "The Golden Bachelor," ABC will help a new leading lady on her quest to find true love.

Just over a month after The Golden Bachelor’s Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist officially tied the knot at their unforgettable Golden Wedding, ABC has revealed that it has tapped another lovable senior to embark on a quest to find true love.

The network announced at its Winter TCA Press Tour on Saturday that The Golden Bachelorette, a female-led spinoff of The Golden Bachelor, is officially coming in fall 2024. Like its predecessors, the brand-new series will air on ABC but stream the next day on Hulu.

While no casting details have been announced just yet, a press release for the series dishes that the show will "highlight one radiant woman’s second chance at love in her golden years” — forever proving that life can be plenty rosy for suitors over the hill.

If ABC is still on the lookout for ideas for its first-ever Golden Bachelorette, we have a suggestion: Leslie Fhima, who was among the final two contestants vying for Gerry’s heart before she was sadly sent home in the Golden Bachelor season finale.

After all, when EW asked if she’d ever be open to the opportunity at The Golden Wedding reception, she responded, “Yeah, I would.”

In addition to The Golden Bachelorette announcement, ABC revealed that The Bachelorette has been renewed for a new season set to air this summer. But, like with the Golden Bachelorette, casting details about who will be giving or receiving roses has not yet been announced.

Regardless, this is definitely an exciting time for Bachelor Nation. Between Joey’s current search for love on The Bachelor, a new season of The Bachelorette, and now The Golden Bachelorette, we can expect a whole lot of love, tears, and roses coming to our screens this year.
