Spider-Man director reunites George Clooney, Brad Pitt in trailer for first movie together in 16 years
Published on April 20, 2026 EDT "Wolfs" stars the pair as crime fixers tasked with cleaning up the same brutal mess in Jon Watts' new film, which also features Austin Abrams.

A bloody predicament (and an underwear-clad Austin Abrams) in the new Wolfs trailer reunites Brad Pitt and George Clooney for their first movie together in 16 years.

The Hollywood heavyweights — who last worked together in 2008's Burn After Reading — team up in Spider-Man series director Jon Watts' latest film as a pair of crime fixers involved in a mixup of their own, as the story follows both men tasked with covering up an apparent homicide involving a character played by The Office actress Amy Ryan.

The preview begins with a shell-shocked woman phoning Clooney's character for help with disposing of a body on the floor of her apartment. During the cleanup, Pitt shows up to cover the same job, prompting the rivals to work together against their better judgment.

After transporting the body (played by Abrams, perhaps best known for his role in HBO's popular TV drama Euphoria) to the trunk of a car, both fixers are stunned when the corpse starts moving, and it turns out he's not dead after all.

"How long have you been partners?" Abrams asks the reluctant duo. "You've got like, the same clothes. You talk the same. You're basically the same guy."

Pitt stresses, "We're not partners!" throughout the clip, though the footage shows them working together to fend off gun-toting foes, as well as pursuing Abrams, who, at one point, runs through snow-slicked streets wearing nothing but underwear and tube socks before flipping over the hood of Clooney's car in slow motion.

Pitt and Clooney have long worked together in Hollywood, including in the rebooted Ocean's Eleven film series as well as the aforementioned Burn After Reading, Joel and Ethan Coen's black comedy hit.
