Published on January 15, 2026 EDT The actresses played mom-daughter duo Lorelai and Emily Gilmore on the Amy Sherman-Palladino dramedy for seven seasons.

Lauren Graham and Kelly Bishop are trading in Friday night dinners for festive lunches.

The Gilmore Girls stars celebrated their recent reunion by posing for a selfie that Graham posted on her Instagram account on Friday.

In the faux family photo, Graham, who starred as wild child Lorelai Gilmore, can be seen wearing a blue blazer, a striped top, sunglasses, and a bucket hat, while Bishop appeared to be channeling her character Emily Gilmore with her black jacket, sunglasses, and sparkling jewelry. Sadly missing from the snapshot was the third Gilmore girl, Alexis Bledel, who played Lorelai’s daughter, Rory.

Graham captioned the post, “Here’s to the ladies who lunch.”

She and Bishop starred opposite one another on all seven seasons of the Amy Sherman-Palladino dramedy, from 2000 until 2007, and later reprised their roles in the series’ 2016 Netflix reboot, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Their portrayal of a mother-daughter relationship was one of the most hilarious and realistic onscreen representations of that dynamic, with the family members frequently bouncing from antagonizing to defending one another at any given moment.

It turns out the pair aren't the only members of the Gilmore Girls cast who have recently been reminiscing about their time in Stars Hollow. Keiko Agena revealed this week that she thinks her GG character, Lane Kim, is still holding a flame for her first love, Dave Rygalski (Adam Brody).

"As rock & roll as she said she was, I think she would be pretty aboveboard, but I think there is some lovelorn heartsickness over that relationship," Agena told E! News. "Maybe some daydreams. I don't know that she would ever act on anything, but a friendship for sure."
