Finding Mr. ChristmasHallmark's
Published on April 20, 2026 EDT Jonathan Bennett will host the new competition series premiering this fall.

Christmas is just 168 days away — and Hallmark Channel is already shopping for their next leading man.

In Finding Mr. Christmas — launching this fall on the network's revamped streaming platform, Hallmark+ — ten telegenic guys will compete in a series of challenges testing their acting skills and festive spirit. The winner will land a leading role in a 2024 Hallmark Channel holiday movie — and earn the title of "Mr. Christmas."

Entertainment Weekly has the exclusive first look at the series, which is hosted — and co-created — by Jonathan Bennett (Mean Girls), who knows what it takes to shine in a Hallmark Channel movie. (See: The Christmas House, The Christmas House 2, Wedding of a Lifetime, and The Holiday Sitter.) Reba and Haul out the Holly star Melissa Peterman serves alongside Bennett as a judge, and other Hallmark Channel stars will appear as guest judges throughout the season.

Every year, Hallmark Channel produces a robust slate of holiday movies — in 2023, the network stuffed viewers' stockings with 42 films — and 2024 will be no exception. The winner of Finding Mr. Christmas will head into production on his movie this summer, and the film will premiere later this year on Hallmark Channel as part of the network's Countdown to Christmas.

Filmed on a gorgeous (and decorated to the hilt) ranch in Utah, Finding Mr. Christmas is Hallmark's first-ever reality competition series. The show was co-created by executive producer Ben Roy, who oversaw last year's Apple TV+ variety special Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas.
