The Summer I Turned Pretty Watch
Published on January 15, 2026 EDT We come to Cousins Beach for magic.

Somehow, heartbreak feels good in a place like...Cousins Beach.

The Summer I Turned Pretty cast is no stranger to breaking hearts as Belly (Lola Tung) flip-flops between Fisher brothers Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), but now the stars are ready to make fans laugh too.

On Monday, The Summer I Turned Pretty author/creator Jenny Han posted a hilarious TikTok video of stars Tung, Briney, Casalegno, Sean Kaufman, and Rain Spencer spoofing Nicole Kidman's infamous AMC ad, and they absolutely deliver the perfect amount of pathos, sincerity, and goofiness as they recite the now-legendary lines while walking through the Fisher beach house.

"We come to Cousins Beach for magic...," Han wrote in the caption. Watch the incredible spoof video below:

The dedication with which each of the cast members lip synch Kidman's audio is impressive, but what's more important is the fact that this funny video is the only chance fans have to visit Cousins Beach this year, since the Prime Video series is taking a summer off.

Amazon previously announced that season 3 of the hit YA TV series won't premiere until 2025. But at least when the show does return, it'll be supersized, as season 3 will consist of 11 episodes (season 1 had seven episodes, while season 2 featured eight episodes).

The series, adapted from Han’s beloved book trilogy, follows teenager Isabel "Belly" Conklin across three life-changing summers in the fictional seaside town Cousins Beach in a love triangle between her childhood friends, brothers Conrad and Jeremiah.

In the season 2 finale, Belly finally chose to be with Jeremiah after evicting Conrad from her heart, just as she does in the second book, It's Not Summer Without You. Conrad put on a brave face to give Belly her infinity necklace back, and promised to still get together for their annual July 4 celebration, but once he was out of sight, he broke down in tears. Meanwhile, Jeremiah took Belly to her volleyball camp, where she successfully convinced her coach to let her back on the team. The season ended with Belly joyfully playing volleyball with all her friends as Jeremiah watched with pride from the sidelines.

"I was very happy with how the season ended," Tung previously told Entertainment Weekly. "We see it in episode 6 at the party when Belly is drunk on the beach and she's talking to Conrad, she tells him how much she would've fought for that relationship, how much it meant to her, and he just doesn't seem to be able to articulate to her that same sense of urgency and that same idea that he would've fought for them. She wants someone who's going to fight for her, and in that moment, Jeremiah is that right choice and the choice that will allow her to be happy without the drama of it."

But book readers know that the love triangle isn't totally resolved yet. Season 3 will likely adapt the final book in the trilogy, We’ll Always Have Summer, and while the novel, published in 2012, begins with Belly fully invested in her relationship with Jeremiah, Conrad still hasn't gotten over her and regrets ever letting her go. Will she end the series with Jeremiah, or will Conrad be able to win her back?

It has not yet been confirmed if season 3, which is currently in production, will be the end of the show.
