Carole Radizwill gave an anonymous quote about Andy Cohen, he 'outed' her, and now she wants an apology
Published on January 15, 2026 EDT In the latest Bravo drama, a journalist goes Deep Throat on the Housewives dancing for Andy Cohen.

Carole Radziwill is not only fresh out of "good summers," but also f---s.

Radziwill recently confirmed she was the anonymous former Real Housewives of New York cast member quoted in New York magazine's profile on Housewives franchise executive producer Andy Cohen and the various controversies roiling his reality TV empire.

Well, Radziwill confirmed it after Cohen "outed" (her words) her on his Sirius XM show Radio Andy on Monday. Now, Radziwill says she wants an apology from the Bravo exec — though she's not holding her breath.

"Someone can make a truthful observation & there’s always one short-ish dude waiting to be offended," Radziwill tweeted after she was unmasked by Shaggy and the gang. "At this point why would any normal person use their name? They’re all so vindictive which I believe is the point of the quote & confirmed by Andy’s nasty response."

As with all things Bravo-related, this gets messy, so strap in.

Though Cohen has maintained decent relationships with most of the Housewives, past and present, he has had some notable fallings-out, such as with Radziwill, her former friend and castmate Bethenny Frankel, and the greatest to ever play the game, NeNe Leakes.

The article on Cohen traced the trajectory of the franchise, from its early days of 2006 when The Real Housewives of Orange County premiered and Cohen was not yet a regular on-screen presence, through present day when he is all but ubiquitous. The nature of the shows, much like the faces of the women who starred in them, also changed dramatically.

One "former New York Housewife" is quoted as saying, “The show went from silly humor about middle-aged women getting drunk and being delusional about their status and having funny, petty arguments, to Housewives investigating and doing opposition research and making up false story lines and leaking stories on each other and trying to get one another fired,”

That anonymous Housewife, once she was fired (as the article shadily notes), had also grown uncomfortable with Cohen's sway and power over the women, exemplified to her by a video from his now-infamous baby shower featuring dozens of Housewives celebrating his impending fatherhood.

In the video, Lisa Rinna — evergreen soap star, best lips in the biz, and former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pot-stirrer — drunkenly screams at every Housewife in attendance to join her atop the tables and "dance like your fucking lives depended on it."

"I just thought it was such a cringe moment," the anony-RHONY told the publication. "Because that's the dynamic. Everyone just dances for Andy Cohen."

Anyone familiar with the Housewives could've guessed who this disgruntled erstwhile apple-holder was from the context clues. If you take a fired RHONY Housewife who's willing to talk to the press but shies away from getting her hands dirty, all signs point to one place. But Cohen decided to speak the quiet part out loud.

“It’s not even a question that it’s Carole,” he said on Radio Andy. “But it was so weird. I was, like, Carole has said a lot of unkind things about me that she has tweeted and been quoted about. So, I was like, why are you going off the record here?”

Well, according to Radziwill — award-winning journalist and daughter-in-law of noted Swan Lee Radziwill — she didn't want to come off as a "clout-chaser."

Responding with an "I know that's right" of a tweet to an X user explaining Radziwill's decision to Deep Throat Cohen's profile, she wrote, “I didn’t want to put my name in an article in which I had no idea of the context. I told the writer they’re all vindictive & then Andy proves it by outing me. He’s lost his mind likely from all the legal trouble. Hope he gets help he needs."

There's no worse burn from a rich white woman than condescension in the guise of concern.

In an earlier tweet, Radziwill expressed her dismay at Cohen "outing a woman" who "for whatever reason chooses to remain anonymous," calling it a "classic bully tactic."

"He’s absurd & should apologize immediately," Radziwill wrote. "But I’m not holding my breathe [sic].”

Radziwill spent six seasons as a Real Housewife of New York, leaving in 2018, which was apparently a source of tension between them after Cohen thought Radziwill had made a comment about the show being a toxic environment. Then there's the friendship breakup Radziwlll had with Frankel, and the former may have felt some kind of way about Cohen siding with Frankel.

Either way, Frankel is no longer close with either of them. In fact, the RHONY alum has spearheaded a war of sorts against Cohen and Bravo, calling for current stars on the network to go on strike and form a union. Then, as if Cohen isn't busy enough, there are the added lawsuits from former 'wives Leah McSweeney, Brandi Glanville, and Caroline Manzo, as well as a dismissed case from Leakesalleging racism.

All the while, the Housewives franchise is going stronger than the MCU — with far more fights. And unlike those Marvel movies, Housewives fights almost always spill out into the real world.
