X-Men Hugh Jackman and Ke Huy Quan celebrate

Move over, Deadpool. Wolverine and OB are having a moment.

Hugh Jackman and Ke Huy Quan both took to social media to commemorate their recent reunion at Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige’s Walk of Fame induction ceremony last week.

While the pair have popped up in Marvel properties recently — Jackman in the new blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine, Quan in Loki season 2 — they revealed that their friendship actually goes all the way back to the very first X-Men film, 2000's X-Men.

"One of the many cool things about [Deadpool & Wolverine] being released is so many moments are happening that are making me appreciate the 25 years that I've been playing Wolverine," Jackman said in an Instagram post on Friday. "The other day, [at] the Walk of Fame induction ceremony for Kevin Feige, I saw Ke Huy Quan. We saw each other and we embraced because we worked together on X-Men."

He continued, "[Quan] was in the stunt team at the time working on that movie and it was — first of all, he was incredible and that team were incredible. That's really where I learned a lot about how to do action movies and how to do stunts. And it was just really cool to see him again and to reconnect."

Jackman captioned the snapshot of him and Quan "25 years later."

His post came just three days after Quan shared his own selfie smiling with Jackman on Instagram. Alongside the image, he included a snapshot of the Deadpool & Wolverine poster and a photo of him at the movies.

"Saw DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE. It was AWESOME," he captioned the photo set. "Ran into Hugh Jackman recently. The last time I saw him was 24 yrs ago on the set of X-Men when he first trained as Wolverine. He is just as nice as I remembered."

He continued, "Huge congratulations to @thehughjackman @vancityreynolds, and the entire Deadpool team on a record opening. Bravo."

Quan's IMDb page notes that he had an uncredited role in the stunt department of X-Men. He was one of several Marvel stars — including Jackman, Chris Evans, Brie Larson, Simu Liu, Chris Pratt, Ryan Reynolds, and Sebastian Stan — who showed up to support Feige at his Walk of Fame ceremony last week.

Jackman even gave a speech at the event in Feige's honor before presenting the Marvel Studios boss with a $15 gift card to Maestro's Steakhouse that is "valid on Tuesdays between 3 and 3:30." He teased, "And I honestly would go with you, but I'm kind of like a massive movie star now. Wouldn't look good for me."
