RHOSLC star Whitney Rose asks for 'prayers' after daughter's ICU visit
Published on April 20, 2026 EDT

Whitney Rose is asking for all the help she can get. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star posted on Instagram on Sunday that her 14-year-old daughter, Bobbie, had been taken to the hospital after suffering from "severe asthma exacerbation." She was apparently taken to the intensive care unit (ICU) in an ambulance.

"My beautiful community please pray for my angel daughter Bobbie Rose," Whitney wrote, according to PEOPLE. "I normally would never come on here to share something so vulnerable but we need prayers and good vibes right now."

On Monday, Rose posted on her Instagram Stories again to thank her fans for their support so far, although the medical situation had not yet been resolved.

"Thank you for all of the love and prayers for my sweet Bobbie Rose," Rose wrote. "Unfortunately, we do not have any updates at this time. Please keep praying for our angel."

Rose has starred on RHOSLC since its inception in 2020. She has deep ties to the Mormon culture of the area, having grown up in the Church of Latter-Day Saints. She claims to be descended from Shadrach Roundy, who was a bodyguard for Mormon founder Joseph Smith.

Her husband is Justin Rose, and they share 11-year-old son Brooks in addition to Bobbie (as well as several children from Justin's earlier marriage). They will not be having any more children, since Rose revealed in season 2 of the Bravo reality series that her husband had a vasectomy after Brooks was born.

Rose previously posted about Bobbie for her 14th birthday back in April. She listed several words to describe her daughter: Kind, beautiful, fun, smart, adventurous, resilient, talented, caring, responsible, fearless, loving, and witty.

"My baby girl is growing up and I am so proud of her," Rose wrote then. "My side kid and bestie for life."
