Stop the drumroll: We know which Real Housewife Reese Witherspoon is working with.

After the actress and producer teased on the Emmys red carpet that she "did sit next to a Real Housewife on a flight recently" who she "can't say anything about" because "we might have a Hello Sunshine project cooking now," the cat has come out of Witherspoon's bag. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards addressed fan speculation on a recent Amazon Live stream, saying, "Yes, I was" on the flight with Witherspoon, and, "Yes, that was me that she was referring to."

Richards explained: "In case you guys didn't see, Reese Witherspoon said something at the Emmys about being on a flight with a Real Housewife and working with her on something. So yes, that was me."

Representatives for Richards and Witherspoon didn't immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly's request for further comment.

At the Emmys, Witherspoon said she's "never watched" a Real Housewives show and feels like she "can't catch up" with the sprawling franchise, which now spans 11 cities and features hundreds of cast members. She then teased her secret project with Richards, saying, "It was cool, it was really cool," to share the flight with her.

Witherspoon's comments set fan theorizing into overdrive. Most guesses circled the RHOBH cast, not only because it contains members of the Beverly Hills jet set with whom Witherspoon likely shares connections, but also because the cast contains the highest proportion of actresses with screen success beyond the Bravo-verse.

RHOBH is replete with Hollywood and Hollywood-adjacent talent. Current and former cast members and friends-of include Garcelle Beauvais (Coming to America, Spider-Man: Homecoming), Camille Grammer (ex-wife of Kelsey Grammer), Denise Richards (Wild Things, Starship Troopers), Lisa Rinna (Days of Our Lives), Eileen Davidson (The Young and the Restless), Jennifer Tilly (Bound), and more.

Richards herself boasts an impressive résumé. She got her start as a child actress, landing her first job on the NBC procedural Police Woman at the age of 5 and going on to series like Little House on the Prairie and films like The Watcher in the Woods. She's best known forplaying Lindsey Wallace in John Carpenter's original Halloween film, a role she reprised in 1981's Halloween II, 2021's Halloween Kills, and 2022's Halloween Ends.

Meanwhile, Witherspoon has built Hello Sunshine into a formidable media company, having produced (sometimes through subsidiaries) Academy Award-nominated films like Wild and Gone Girl, but focusing on streaming series since the runaway success of Big Little Lies.

Hello Sunshine also acts as the parent company of Witherspoon's popular book club, which she often leverages to acquire the rights to novels for adaptations. Series like Hulu's Little Fires Everywhere and Prime Video's Daisy Jones and the Six were produced this way.

Further details of Witherspoon and Richards' Hello Sunshine collaboration have yet to be revealed.
