Hocus PocusWhere to watch
Published on April 20, 2026 EDT From streaming to TV listings, see all the places you can conjure Halloween magic with the Sanderson Sisters this year.

Your spooky season self-care routine has all the right ingredients so far: candles, cauldrons, pumpkin spice everything, the chocolate-covered finger of a man named Clark... now, you just need to know where to watch Hocus Pocus and Hocus Pocus 2 in celebration of the franchise's 30-year anniversary this Halloween.

Indeed, you have the power to resurrect Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy — who first portrayed the Sanderson Sisters witches in director Kenny Ortega's 1993 Disney classic — inside your living room on digital services over the next month, but there are plenty of opportunities to watch the first Hocus Pocus movie on TV channels across the next month, too.

Read on to see where to watch Hocus Pocus and Hocus Pocus 2 this Halloween, from streaming to television listings all throughout October.

Enter your pop culture calming circle, because, outside of its TV airings and return to select movie theaters for its 30th anniversary, Hocus Pocus — also starring Omri Katz as Max, Vinessa Shaw as Allison, Thora Birch as Dani, and Doug Jones as Billy Butcherson — is available to watch, buy, and rent on a wide range of services, including:

Amazon Prime VideoApple TV+Disney+HuluVudu

There's only one way to watch director Anne Fletcher's Hocus Pocus 2. And what is that, dude? Daylight saving time! JK, you can watch it exclusively on the Disney+ subscription streaming service, where it shattered streaming records following its initial Sept. 30, 2022 release date.

When you're done watching the film, make sure to stay tuned for the Hocus Pocus 2 post-credits scene, which hints at a Sanderson Sisters return ahead of Hocus Pocus 3.

Hitting "play" on Disney+ is about as easy as lighting the Black Flame Candle, but old-school Hocus Pocus fans can conjure that childhood nostalgia feeling of curling up on the couch to watch the movie just as our beloved master Garry Marshall (in Hell) intended: with a host of Halloween commercials peppering its TV broadcast.

ABC has a special 30th-anniversary edition planned in the run-up to Halloween, while Freeform will air Hocus Pocus 18 times between Oct. 1 and Halloween, with the family network showing the movie twice on Oct. 31 as a cap to its annual 31 Nights of Halloween programming. See when Hocus Pocus is playing on TV via Freeform and ABC below.
