Reputation (Taylor's Version)Taylor Swift's website goes down amid
Published on April 20, 2026 EDT This is why we can't have nice things.

Look what you made Taylor Swift’s website do!

The “Anti-Hero” singer’s website temporarily went down Sunday amid growing rumors that she will soon announce her fifth re-recorded album, Reputation (Taylor’s Version) — potentially at the 2024 Grammy Awards. As of Sunday night, the website was back up, but it was displaying a black error screen in the late afternoon and early evening.

Swift's online merch store has also gone dark. The page now displays a white screen that is password protected. The good news? It should be no problem for Swifties to figure out, given they previously solved 89 different puzzles over 33 million times in less than 24 hours to unveil her 1989 (Taylor's Version) vault track titles.

Why do fans believe Swift’s Reputation era is soon approaching? Well, Sunday morning she changed all of her social media profile images from her Midnights album cover to a black-and-white version of it. And, as Swifties are well aware, black is the color most often associated with Reputation.

Fans also suspected a potential nod to Reputation in Swift’s “Karma” music video, in which she was holding a coffee cup that featured latte art in the shape of a clock. Her thumbnails — one painted blue, the other a shade of black – were both strategically placed at the 8 and 2 points on the clock. The blue, which was next to the 8, ended up coinciding with the announcement of 1989 (Taylor's Version) in August, the eighth month of the year. The black, however, was next to the 2, leading fans to believe news of Reputation's re-release may be on the way this month.

Whether the rumors turn out to be true or not, tonight is set to be a big evening for Swift, who is nominated for six awards, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Today, tomorrow, next year — when it comes to Reputation (Taylor’s Version), we’re definitely ready for it.
