RHOC's Shannon Beador baffled by Joel Kim Booster's 'pathetic drunk' tirade

The gays and the Real Housewives have a symbiotic, occasionally unhealthy relationship, with one another and God help anyone when it goes sideways.

Fire Island star Joel Kim Booster is doing the Lord's work, reportedly hosting a Housewives dating show for Peacock that features some unlucky-in-love ladies from the Bravosphere, including Real Housewives of Potomac's Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby, Real Housewives of New York's Luann de Lesseps, and Real Housewives of Orange County's Shannon Beador.

In a series of since-deleted Instagram Stories, Booster ripped Beador a new one after filming wrapped on the show, calling her "a pathetic drunk" who treated the people she worked with as "subhuman." Beador, however, claims she doesn't know whence the outburst came.

Beador responded to Booster's alleged comments after a fan asked her about them during the Q&A segment at a stop on her tour with RHOC cast member turned friend-of, Vicki Gunvalson.

"I really don’t know what it’s about.” Beador said, explaining that earlier that night, at the show's wrap party, Booster "had tears in his eyes" and said that he was "so happy" for the reality star.

“He trashed my daughters,” Beador added. “He said that I hope that I suffer. He said he feels sorry for John Jansen. He says that I’m nothing but a pathetic drunk, and it’s really going to look silly for him, because he had nothing but love for me the entire show.”

Beador continued, “What I’m sad about is that I did some kind things on the show, and people said it was kind. It’s hard for me to walk away from an experience that I really enjoyed and to have that damper on it. But we’ll see what happens. I don’t know where it came from, I really don’t.”

Booster went all the way off on an unspecified Housewife widely assumed to be Beador on social media, writing in an Instagram Stories post, “Just because you’re a pathetic drunk on a reality television show best known for a string of failed relationships and a DUI does not make you a star and does not give you license to treat the people you work with like they are subhuman. Period. They will make me delete this but DM me if you’d like to see some videos. Besos!”

Beador's major storyline this season involves a 2023 DUI and the subsequent fallout from it.

Booser followed up that takedown with two more posts, writing in the first, “Well that was quick. Anyway. Don’t regret it hope you screenshot it. Hope she suffers.” And adding in the final, "Well let’s just say I can’t imagine what John Janssen went through. Poor guy,” referring to Beador's ex who is suing her for $75,000 this season.

Reps for Booster and Beador did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly's requests for comment.
