Melissa McCarthy is Billie Eilish's biggest fan.

The two took the stage at the 2024 SAG Awards to present Female Actor in a Comedy Series, where McCarthy revealed to the "What Was I Made For" singer that they've actually met before when greeted with a "nice to meet you."

"But why would you remember that? We actually met twice," McCarthy said. "You met my daughters and one of my dogs. Fun fact, I actually met you in utero because your mom was my first improv teacher. And guess who she was pregnant with? It was you!"

Eilish responded, "That's a lot."

"It's a lot," McCarthy agreed, adding that she's been "trying to be more present in making memories" before asking if Eilish would do the honor of signing her gown with a Sharpie. Eilish demurred, stating that she didn't want to ruin her dress. When McCarthy asked her to sign her forehead, Eilish obliged.

The dynamic duo then presented the award to The Bear star Ayo Edebiri.

McCarthy's anecdote about Eilish's mother was not just a bit. The comedian previously confirmed that Maggie Baird, mother of Eilish and her collaborator brother Finneas O'Connell, was her first improv teacher at The Groundlings. "She was so sweet and so nice and the fact that she has these crazy talented creative kids," McCarthy said on Watch What Happens Live last year, calling Baird an "awesome teacher."
