ImmaculateSydney Sweeney has an unholy pregnancy in the creepy trailer for new horror movie
Published on January 15, 2026 EDT In the upcoming flick, the "Euphoria" star joins an Italian convent with dark secrets.

It is quite a leap to go from portraying Cassie on Euphoria to playing a nun in a convent, but it's one which Sydney Sweeney makes in the upcoming horror film Immaculate, and you can now watch its just-released trailer.

In the new movie, Sweeney stars as Cecilia, a devout woman offered what promises to be fulfilling role at an illustrious Italian convent. However, Ceciwarm welcome to the idyllic Italian countryside is shattered when it becomes clear her new home harbors dark secrets.

The trailer seems to confirm what the film's title suggests — that Sweeney's character becomes pregnant by forces unknown. The clip also finds Cecilia enduring a creepy confessional and being asked "how can we trust what's inside you?" by a fellow nun. Great question, sister!

Immaculate was directed by Michael Mohan, who previously collaborated with Sweeney on 2021's The Voyeurs, and was written by Andrew Lobel. The film's cast also includes Simona Tabasco, Alvaro Morte, Benedetta Porcaroli, and Dora Romano.

Neon will release Immaculate in theaters on March 22. Watch the trailer below.
