Using the rich song catalog of Huey Lewis and the News for its score, the new musical follows a group of starry-eyed twenty-somethings, including Bobby (Cott), a guitar player who's traded his rock aspirations for climbing the corporate ladder, and his boss Cassandra (Kurtz), who's been raised to put the family business first. But when they get a second chance at their dreams, they have to decide the kind of life they really want.

The score features hits such as "The Power of Love," "Workin' For a Livin'," and "If This Is It" with a book by Jonathan A. Abrams, from a story by Abrams and Tyler Mitchell. Gordon Greenberg directs.

The show, which is produced with Lewis' blessing, will open at Broadway's James Earl Jones Theatre on April 22, following a run of previews that begin March 29.
