LaTisha Scott, Jabbar's cousin and costar on Love & Marriage: Huntsville, shared a brief message on Instagram, writing, "At this time we are asking for RESPECT, and PRIVACY in our moment of grief, while we process this great loss! This is hard for our family!!!!!"

OWN's site describes Love & Marriage: Huntsville as a series that "centers around the lives of three high-powered African-American couples who come together to revitalize the thriving city of Huntsville, Alabama, through their joint real estate venture, The Comeback Group."

Jabbar joined Scott on the reality series last year.

Reps for Love & Marriage: Huntsville did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly's request for comment.
