STARZ
In the six-episode series, Annan — who plays P-Valley's Uncle Clifford, the fashionable, non-binary owner of The Pynk strip club — will travel around the South to get to know people who are living their truth in a variety of creative ways. The network says Down in the Valley "explores sensuality, music, culture, and stories of the South from the lens of Black people and marginalized groups. From strip clubs to sex workshops, rap performances, and ancient hoodoo rituals, Annan, as well as the audience, will experience it all."
"The Valley ain't always a place," drawls Annan, who can be seen in the trailer getting a fresh cut with a barber/exotic male dancer and checking out a Hoodoo ritual. "Sometimes, it's a state of mind." Watch the exclusive preview for the series above.
