I know we sang the praises of Dev Patel’s directorial debut, Monkey Man, in last week’s Must List — but this past weekend I got the chance to check it out for myself and I just have to add my voice to the choir of fans praising the actor’s intense and action-packed modern sendup to classic kung fu movies. I caught the film at Los Angeles’ only Alamo Drafthouse. Publicly starting a petition to get a second location not all the way downtown, please! —Patrick Gomez, Editor-in-Chief

After dazzling the Oscars with his Kenergy last month, I can’t wait to see the Gos return to Studio 8H, hosting the April 13 episode with musical guest Chris Stapleton. Fingers crossed for a sequel to his iconic 2017 sketch “Papyrus.” —Devan Coggan, Senior Writer
